Carson was raised in the small town of Meansville, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia, where she earned her degree in Political Science, graduating cum laude. After graduating with her undergraduate degree, Carson returned to her hometown and served as a deputy clerk for the Magistrate Court of Pike County. This is where Carson found her passion for the legal field. She worked for two years before diving into law school at Georgia State University College of Law.
Carson realized she loved litigation and being in the courtroom when she began participating in the Student Trial Lawyers Association at Georgia State College of Law. She competed in mock trial competitions across the nation, and she won the Hofstra Medical-Legal Competition, which is a one-of-a-kind competition where medical students are used as expert witnesses. While in law school, Carson also worked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit as a case administrator and later as a paralegal for an insurance defense firm. She quickly realized that insurance defense was not an area she was interested in practicing. Carson ultimately graduated magna cum laude from law school, and she was granted the honor of being admitted to The Order of the Barristers – an honorary organization for graduating law students who have demonstrated exceptional skill in the area of oral advocacy.
After law school, Carson focused her practice on trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes, as well as complex business litigation. Carson primarily represented financial advisors transitioning financial firms and received favorable results in both federal courts and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s arbitration forum.
Carson loved working in the trade secret and restrictive covenant space, but she wanted to represent individuals who truly needed her help. Carson joined The Stoddard Firm in 2025 to fulfill her passion for litigating on behalf of vulnerable individuals who have been injured.
When she is not working, Carson enjoys spending time with her family and friends and eating her way through the Atlanta food scene. She also enjoys giving back and serves on the Executive Team of the Junior Committee for Camp Twin Lakes, an organization that sends children with life challenges to camp.
