Attorney Janine Bell

Janine, raised on the island of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, moved to the continental United States to pursue her education. Janine graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After college, Janine earned her law degree from Georgia State University, College of Law in 2020.
While in law school, Janine was a graduate research assistant for the university’s compliance department, a mock trial member, a member of several student organizations, and a student mentor. Prior to and during her studies, Janine not only raised her family but worked in both the finance industry and at non-profits at a national level. She now resides permanently in Atlanta.
Janine began advocating for plaintiffs as an intern at a personal injury firm, which she later joined. After graduating from law school, she continued her passion for helping others and began practicing personal injury law in GA courts in Metro Atlanta through West Georgia.
Janine is admitted to practice in all Georgia state courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the Northern District of Georgia. She is also a volunteer law student mentor for the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and a member of the American Association for Justice.
Janine joined The Stoddard Firm in 2023, where she focuses on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Janine defines herself as analytical, detail orientated, hard-working, and conscientious. Her favorite aspects of her career as an attorney have been mentoring young lawyers, meeting and engaging with specialists to understand their fields, and actively contributing to the lives of the people in her community.
When she is not advocating for her clients, Janine is the proud mother to a teenage daughter, Kayla Bell. Janine enjoys sunsets on the lake, concerts, playing tennis and soccer, and exploring new restaurants with her family and friends. Janine loves to travel and endeavors to visit a new destination each year.
