Marshauna, affectionately known as Shauna, is a native of Kansas City, Missouri, but is proud to call Atlanta her home. She became interested in the legal field at a young age, when she watched veterans be discarded and set aside as no longer useful to America once they showed vulnerability to mental illness, addiction, and homelessness. Scenes such as these made her look squarely at the deep despair around her, and she knew then that she wanted to make a difference.
From middle school through adulthood Shauna has had a passion for helping others and seeking justice through social activism and advocacy. She often debates laws that need revision, volunteers tutoring elementary students in math, helping to feed the less fortunate, and promoting awareness about human trafficking.
With over 12 years of legal experience and a strong background in client relations, Shauna has worked at several renowned insurance defense and plaintiff’s firms. She understands the “big picture” and knows what it takes to help her attorneys succeed.
Shauna is hands-on and helps keep clients informed every step of the way. As the firm’s Senior Litigation Paralegal, Shauna works under the direction of her attorneys to get justice for the firm’s clients.
Shauna received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and has a Master’s in Criminal Justice from Regent University School of Law.
In her spare time, Shauna enjoys spending time with her husband, James.
