Shauna Thomas

Senior Litigation Paralegal

Marshauna, affectionately known as Shauna, is a native of Kansas City, Missouri but is proud to call Atlanta her home. She became interested in the legal field at a young age, when she watched veterans be discarded and set-aside as no longer useful to America once they showed their vulnerability from mental illness, addiction, and homelessness. Scenes such as this made her look squarely at the deep despair around her, and she knew then that she wanted to make a difference.

From middle school to adult, Shauna has had a passion for helping others and seeking justice through social activism and advocacy. She often debates about laws that need revision, volunteers helping tutor elementary students in math, helping to feed the less fortunate, and promoting awareness about human trafficking.

With over 12 years of legal experience and a strong client’s relations background and having worked in the legal field for several large renowned insurance defense firms and some large plaintiff’s firms, Shauna understands the big “picture” and knows what it takes to help her attorneys succeed.

Shauna is hands on and helps keep clients informed every step of the way. As the firm’s Senior Litigation Paralegal, Shauna works under the direction of her attorneys in getting justice for the firm’s clients.

Shauna received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and has a Masters in Criminal Justice from Regent University School of Law.

In her spare time, Shauna enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
