by The Stoddard Firm - October 13th, 2025
The Stoddard Firm has filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of a young woman, identified as D.B., who alleges that she was sex trafficked as a minor at the Super 8 by Wyndham located on Old National Highway in College Park, Georgia.
According to the complaint, D.B. was only 16 years old when she was trafficked at the hotel over a six-month period in 2020. The trafficker has already been convicted and is currently serving time in prison.
The lawsuit asserts that the hotel’s owners and operators — Lincoln Bancorp LLC and Lincoln Property Management LLC — turned a blind eye to obvious signs of sex trafficking, allowing the abuse to continue unchecked. Hotel staff allegedly witnessed repeated red flags, including high foot traffic, cash payments, frequent towel requests, and a visibly underage and distressed girl lingering around the property. Despite these indicators, the staff continued renting rooms to the trafficker and took no action to intervene.
The suit brings claims under the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA), as well as for premises liability and public nuisance, arguing that the hotel financially benefited while failing to implement even basic measures to prevent trafficking on-site.
The Stoddard Firm, which has a strong track record in representing survivors of human trafficking and hotel negligence, is proud to stand with D.B. and remains fully committed to pursuing justice on her behalf.
