Attorney Robert Noens
Associate at The Stoddard Firm
Robert, born in Mays Landing, New Jersey, was raised and spent most of his life in Alpharetta, Georgia. He attended Alpharetta High School and played on both the varsity soccer team and his club team, the Alpharetta Ambush. Upon graduating, Robert attended the University of Georgia, where he graduated, cum laude, with a degree in International Affairs, focusing in Political Economy.
After graduating from the University of Georgia, Robert went on to attend the Georgia State University College of Law, where he was awarded both the Dean’s Scholarship and Buttonwood Foundation Scholarship for academic achievement. During his time at Georgia State, Robert was an avid member of the College of Law’s mock trial team. In every year of his membership, Robert represented Georgia State at national trial competitions as well as winning the 2016 William Daniel National Trial Competition.
In addition to mock trial, Robert served as an extern to then Fulton County Chief Judge, Gail Tusan, and provided pro bono help to elderly investors that had been defrauded or had their retirement funds negligently managed. While still in law school, Robert served as co-counsel in an almost week-long securities arbitration where he came out victorious against a global investment bank in favor of an individual elderly investor. Robert credits that moment and his client’s reaction to cementing his love for assisting others.
Robert’s first job after graduating law school was as an assistant district attorney where he prosecuted a full gambit of felony crimes, though specifically focusing on white-collar crimes. During that time Robert successfully tried multiple felony cases and achieved favorable outcomes on numerous appeals.
To reintroduce himself with civil litigation, Robert eventually joined a national insurance defense firm where he represented some of the world’s largest insurance companies against various types of loss. Ultimately however, the work proved to be unfulfilling. While Robert always loved to litigate, he missed representing individuals and the feeling one gets helping those in need. As such, in January of 2022, Robert joined The Stoddard Firm to, once again, focus exclusively on assisting victims recover their due compensation.
Now, since joining The Stoddard Firm, Robert represents those catastrophically injured as well as those individuals whose family members were the victims of wrongful death. Robert finds energy in assisting those in some of the most difficult situations imaginable and works relentlessly to recover for his clients.
When not working, Robert enjoys volunteering his time to young, future lawyers by serving as a judge in many of Georgia’s high school, college, and law school mock trial competitions. In his personal life, Robert is an avid sports fan, following everything from college football and his Georgia Bulldogs to Formula1. Robert is a local of Decatur and spends much of his free time with family and friends.
